Sorry I haven't done much blogging, not that many would care, including me, I've just fallen out of the blog-scene I guess. It's been a month or two since I've read anyone else's and well, as much as I'd love to learn more about you, I'm too lazy. Expect posts to be sparse from now on for the rest of the holidays, seeing as how I won't be posting something unless I really feel like it. Heck, I missed out on just quickly posting a merry christmas/happy new year post on here, but no. I was too lazy :D
I've had a lot of fun over the holidays so far. After camp, that was when the holidays started, I guess. I would've gone on the last day when Amy said to on the 10O picnic board, but I didn't check it that day, so...I didn't go :S
My sister Margaret (who seems to have been reading by blog of late and commented on the previous post) and Dad have their birthdays within two weeks of each other, and so when we go out to celebrate, we combine their birthdays into the same night (cheaper that way, but twice as special). On the night we went out, we went to Koby Jones, a popular Japanese-fusion restaurant in the city by the harbour. Describing their food as beautiful and delicious wouldn't be enough considering the calibre of the food they served. Quite rich in flavour and filling (but still healthy for you because it's Japanese XD), the food was exquisite.
We celebrated Christmas over at 'the little family's new house' where we played Guitar Hero and watched Anaconda 4 (honestly, the horror factor from that movie is non-existent as most of the deaths are unrealistic and are obviously computer generated). During said movie, Raymark and I played super Mario on wireless. Silly boy kept destroying my stars D:
Speaking of better, MUCH better movies, I watched Avatar with my sisters in the city. AWESOME movie. If you haven't watched it yet, go. Simple enough storyline, but sometimes less is more, and the creativity of the minds behind Avatar is shoen through the world of Pandora, the place where Avatar is set. Again, watch it if you haven't yet, it is a good movie.
Our family spent New Year's Eve at the Figuroa's house (except for Dite, she went to Rach's). After a very diverse dinner, the adults stayed downstairs and did their thing while Ate and I played Guitar Hero 5 and Metallica on XBOX360 (thanks Noy!) Lucky for Cookie, we got her about $1000+ in Metallica XD. Personally, the fireworks were a little bit of a let down this year. They said it'd be the biggest yet, but they weren't...if they didn't say anything in the first place, I bet people would have appreciated them more.
The following day, we called people in the past of 2009! Haha, I'm sure it might seem really silly to you, but it was really funny calling Tita Siony's in America while it was 2009 there and we were in 2010. That kind of 'time travel' was one I had never considered before; it was a hoot.
Yesterday I went out with my group plus Sebastian to Westfield's Livo for some shopping, and a movie. We shopped a little first (I gots new clothes :D) and then around 11:15 we went up to the movie theatres to get our tickets before the massive midday line-up. After five minutes debating, we decided to watch Fantastic Mr. Fox. We went back down to the food court for lunch a little Timezone before heading back up to watch the movie at 12:45. Let me just say that now I am very wary of blueberries now. Very wary. Watch the movie and you'll get it.
Well, hope you guys are all have a swell time, I'll see you all on the other side of this month!
