doors closing. please stand clear.

To those that understand the title, 'yes, it was a pretty close call.' Thing is, since it's Wednesday, me, Justin, Maylyn, Oishi and Nancy catch the train to Leumeah for pool. It's lots of fun. Thing is, today it seemed, we were very lethargic in general. As the trained stopped for Leumeah, I thought, 'Okay, better start moving now'. No one moved. When the doors opened, everyone began to get up and move, but at dawdling pace and I was saying, "come on guys, before the doors close!" Oishi dropped her glasses box. Everyone stopped. She picked them up and we kept going at snailpace.

Then lo and behold, the automated voice, 'doors closing. please stand clear' sounded and Justin was at the front just at the top of the stairs (we were sitting in the bottom compartment mind you) and I was leading up the rear. As soon as we heard it, I yelled "come on! gogogogo!" or something like that and we ran. Everyone made it out, and lucky for me, so did I by the skin of my teeth. I basically dived for the closing doors; very Indiana Jones-esk. I don't mean to sound all pompous or anything, but it was a lot of fun, as harrowing the consequences could have been. Of course, it turned out that I didn't need to dive for the exit. The doors reopened again, and we all laughed. Ian was there as well getting off from another carriage (well before us) and saw the whole thing. We then started making jokes, like, "It'd be funny if you made it through but the doors closed on your bag, then it'd be byebye Patrick!" :D. It was a good day today.

I'll be starting work experience next week and I need to pick up a package from Ms Ejsak so remind me if you read this Wednesday night XD. If not, then don't worry. I'll be doing Anatomical Pathology (diagnostics and the like) during that time which will be very interesting. Hope you guys tell me if anything major turns its ugly head up during the time I'm away, okay? Not much else to say I guess...buuh-bye.

EDIT [12/9]: Looks like I'll be doing W.E. in Wk 10 cause there's no one to take care of me Wk 8 so I guess I'll see you guys up till Wk 9!
