tinted windows

I was sitting on the bus from Livo to Prestons and I saw Kelvin, Richard and Tieu waiting for a bus (presumably), and I wanted to say hello, but they couldn't see me because of the windows. The bus was pretty packed as well so I couldn't get up to the other side of the bus and bash the window trying to get their attention looking like a spastic teenager, so I just stared at them, trying to make eye contact through tinted windows. There were other people getting on the bus at the time so we were stopped for a good minute or two, and after about twenty seconds of trying to catch their attention, I felt really stupid just staring at them. This is why I hate one-way tinted windows; you can always see outside but the people outside can't see you (at least not very well).

This has been the first weekend so far into the term that I don't have an assessment to study for or prepare for the upcoming week, which is relieving. My American cousins the Grahams have also left today, ending their two week visit. I'm very sad that they've left; the house is SO quiet without them. Watching Harold and Kumar with Mandy was hilarious!! Can't wait to meet you in Japan! Not so thankfully, Tita (aunt) Siony has successfully converted my family into watching Korean Dramas. =\

We all had a family game night last night crossing over into the morning consisting of bingo ($5 prize games), Dirty Minds and Taboo. If you don't know the game, wiki it or something; can't be bothered explaining right now.

Good luck to anyone who has assessments on this week, I'm hoping everyone did well for their speeches (loved Dan's one; watch it on facebook if you haven't already)!

Peace out~ XD

  1. When I see people I know, they must be extremely close friends before I crawl out of my awkward shell. For example today. I know Vi. So at cabra I stood a metre away from her and waved and for some reason she screamed :(
